How to choose moldings?

Most often, our clients use only a few basic architectural forms to decorate their homes, namely:

Floor mouldings

Floor moulding — historically, this element is used to decorate the junction of the floor and the wall, allowing to hide the edge of the flooring. Floor mouldings are used as hidden cable channels, as well as to secure the flooring. The interior aspect cannot be ignored: smooth, massive, wide, and narrow floor mouldings can significantly transform the interior mood of your home and add sophistication to the decor.

Cornieces

Cornice — sometimes referred to as a ceiling baseboard, it has a similar purpose, but is located at the junction of the wall and the ceiling. Since the ceiling space is always noticeably more prominent, the use of a cornice can greatly affect the visual perception of the room’s space; for example, smooth and tall (along the wall) cornices visually increase the height of the ceilings, light cornices can transform a room with both light and color — the room will be perceived completely differently, just by clicking the switch. Cornices with rich ornamentation can complement classic interiors. However, it can be confidently said that the application of any cornice will enhance the interior and add a special touch to it.

Mouldings

Moldings — serve both practical purposes: hiding joints of various materials, disguising defects or cables in channels, protecting the wall surface from contact with furniture, but can also be used exclusively for decorative purposes, such as creating frames on walls of arbitrary shapes or simply adding geometric reliefs and enhancing interiors. A solid-colored wall is practical, but at the same time looks too simple — any kind of solution using moldings easily addresses this problem. Pay attention to corner elements for connecting moldings, which significantly enhance the possibilities of use.

Decorative panels

Wall panel — gaining popularity, wall panels also have a similar functionality to moldings, but since they cover a larger surface area, they can have a greater impact on the perception of the room. Many shapes can not only change the geometric aspect but also add tactility to the visual perception, such as a panel that imitates upholstery of soft furniture. The application of panels is limited only by your imagination, and for inspiration, we recommend visiting the gallery or the inspiration section.

Ceiling roses

Rose — can be used both as an element to hide wiring for connecting light fixtures and for creating visual accents, both on walls and ceilings. A variety of shapes and styles will help you choose a rose that can adorn your unique interior. Smooth, round, and oval, with rich ornamentation and unique shapes, large and small sizes — you can find a rose here specifically designed to embellish your home. In the example in the image, the rose is complemented by ornaments from our collection.

Combinations of shapes and non-traditional usage. Our products can be used to find sometimes unexpected, but always unique and creative solutions in interiors. Visit our Gallery and the Inspiration page to see examples of such usage. Honeycomb light fixtures for walls or ceilings, creating relief structures from cornices, non-standard lighting shapes for paintings and functional framing of mirrors — all of this proves the practically limitless possibilities of applying our products.

Of course, our collection is not limited to these simple forms; we have much to offer designers with the most complex tasks for unconventional interiors. It often happens that a perfectly classic architectural form can become a highlight in a very bold or even kitschy interior. One could go on for a long time listing the entire spectrum of our products, but to save your time, it's sufficient to download the catalog and ask any questions you may have on the website in any way that is convenient for you.

Columns

Columns, half-columns, pilasters. Although these forms are considered classic and immerse us in the style of Ancient Rome and Greece, their application is also possible in modern interiors. While they can serve as accents, they can also have purely practical purposes, such as framing load-bearing columns or elegantly decorating other technical structures. The use of color and light can give these elements a truly unique appearance and help transform the interior space of your home, adding a special touch to the decor.

Arch frames

Arch frames and door frames. By designing your interior in a specific style and using architectural elements, you create beauty within your space. The completeness in some details will dictate the need to complement others, such as decorating a dull door opening or arch. It’s not about overloading but about appropriate additions that complete the harmonious look. Pay attention to the use of color in your interior palette or outside of it to create an accent. Interior pediments will be indispensable in tasks related to restoring original interiors of classical buildings.

Fireplaces

Decorative fireplaces and fireplace elements. To a great extent, fire has influenced the formation of human civilization. The home hearth and its most recent embodiment — the fireplace — create an indescribable coziness and literary poeticism in home decor. Although not all residents of modern cities can afford to have a real fireplace at home, we have a solution for you! Easily and effortlessly, you can turn a blank wall surface into an attractive interior element that creates a unique comfort. The use of modern means that imitate an open flame, coupled with a comfortable chair placed nearby, will create in your home a place where you will happily spend time with a book in hand or engaging in pleasant conversation with friends. We offer both ready-made solutions and components that allow you to create a unique fireplace tailored to your interior.

Niches

Niches, coffers, brackets, composed elements, additional elements. Each of us has an interior designer within. Even if you think you’re far from this topic, we assure you that just a glance at a well-executed interior can fill you with ideas! Don’t be afraid to experiment, and for any possibilities of implementing this or that idea, you can always ask us using any convenient communication channel. Niches can be used for storing family relics, coffers can not only transform a dull ceiling into a work of art but also hide technical structures. Brackets can be used both for their intended purpose and for masking technical constructions. Composed and additional elements represent an architectural constructor with the widest range of applications.

Even if you only touch upon interior design issues a few times in your life, don’t rush to reject the idea of participating on your own! All you need is the desire and a bit of inspiration, which is why we strongly encourage you to explore the Gallery and the Inspiration section of our website. In the Gallery, you will find interior works where you can see several images of the same interior accompanied by specific products. In the Inspiration section, you will find individual images showcasing the application of our products, which we find inspiring!
